Global CemFuels Awards Dinner

The Global CemFuels Awards Dinner will take place on the evening of 23 September 2026, at the famous Edelweiss Restaurant in the heart of Geneva. It will be a memorable night, with fondue galore!

Delegates have a few moments by Lake Geneva and its famous fountain, followed by a short walk to the dinner venue, and a drinks reception

The cost for participation is €125, bookable during registration. Please register for the dinner during registration. If you would like to bring your spouse or customers to the dinner, you are welcome to purchase extra tickets. Please state how many additional tickets you would like, and give the names of the attending people during your registration. Please note that numbers are strictly limited - and guests are welcomed on a first-come, first served basis.

Farewell Reception

A Farewell Reception will take place at the conference hotel on the evening of the second day of the conference. The conference Farewell Reception is included in the delegate fee.

Field trip

A field trip will take place to the Eclépens cement plant of Holcim on Friday 25 September. Please see the itinerary on the 'Programme' page.

Dietary requirements and allergies

Please let us know upon registration if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies.

Dress code

Dress code for the conference and gala dinner is smart casual attire or business attire.

Visa requirements

Prospective delegates should appraise themselves with the requisite visa requirements.

Photography and videography

Registration and participation in the event includes your agreement to allow the use of your likeness in photos and video created by the organisers for promotional and other purposes.

Conference security

Geneva is generally considered to be relatively safe. However, delegates should exercise normal levels of precautions against street crime (as in any world city), by making sure that your valuables are out of sight (or better still in your hotel room safe).

There will be security at the conference and exhibition, and all delegates are required to wear their conference badges to access the event facilities.

Right of refusal

The event organisers reserve the right to reject an application for registration for any reason, and reserve the right to bar any attendee from the conference and exhibition facilities, gala dinner, and hotel and hotel grounds, in case of disruptive behaviour, non-payment of full conference dues, insobriety or wantonness.

Cancellation

Please note that the conference fees are not refundable under any circumstances, unless the conference is cancelled, in which case fees will be refunded after an administrative deduction of 20%. The organisers will not be liable for any additional expenses - you are strongly advised to take out insurance to cover any consequent losses, or to claim on any existing corporate insurance policy.  You are advised to secure your visa before registering for the conference. Substitutions from the same company can be made at no cost up to three working days before the event.
