AMSCO Wear Products acquires Global Partners Alliance
11 December 2023US: AMSCO Wear Products has announced its acquisition of wear parts supplier Global Partners Alliance. Following the deal, AMSCO Wear Products will also become the exclusive sales agent for Germany-based Stahlwerke Bochum, which supplies equipment including heat-treated alloy hammers, in North America.
AMSCO Wear Products vice president Sharon Morris said "We've always been committed to offering our customers the best wear-resistant castings for metals recycling, surface mining and waste-to-energy industries. When the opportunity to purchase Global Wear Products and partner directly with Stahlwerke Bochum came up, we were eager to work together. KÇS Kipaş Çimento orders Pyrorotor from KHD Humboldt Wedag
17 August 2022Turkey: KÇS Kipaş Çimento has placed an order with KHD Humboldt Wedag for a Pyrorotor for its Kahramanmaraş cement plant. The supplier says that the equipment will enable the plant's calciner to achieve an alternative fuel (AF) substitution rate of 90%. It will additionally restrict NOx emissions to 800mg/Nm3. After a short shutdown for assemblage of gas duct connections, KHD expects to commission the upgraded system in mid-to-late 2023.
The company says that the KÇS Kipaş Çimento contract represents its 11th Pyrorotor order globally and the first in Turkey.
Entsorga supplies solid recovered fuels storage, feeding and dosing systems to Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa
11 March 2022Indonesia: Entsorga has dispatched two Spider bridge cranes and two Pelican feeding and dosing systems for the construction of two new solid recovered fuel (SRF) storage, feeding and dosing systems at Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa’s 11.9Mt/yr Citeureup cement plant in Bogor Regency. The systems will have a total capacity of 50t/hr. An advanced supervision system will monitor and control their 24-hour operation. The Italy-based supplier says that both lines are highly automated and will reduce both CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
CEO Francesco Galanzino “The systems will help the cement plant to maintain its 2030 sustainability commitments, in line with the policies of HeidelbergCement who is a real first mover in the path toward sustainability. Such project it is a very important step in a Country where environmental policies are in their early stage.”
India: UltraTech Cement plans to increase the production capacity at its Maihar cement plant by 50%. FLSmidth will carry out the expansion project, which also involves the installation of a new calciner and JetFlex burner along with other pyroprocessing equipment. The supplier says that the upgrade will facilitate greater alternative fuel substitution at the plant in Madhya Pradesh.

Metso signs service agreement for waste recycling equipment with Core Industrial Solutions in the UK
28 January 2019UK: Sweden’s Metso has signed a service partner agreement for its M&J waste recycling equipment with Core Industrial Solutions. The deal will allow Metso to improve the availability of its services to the waste recycling industry. It has over 100 waste recycling machines in the UK.
"Complemented by Core Industrial Solutions' expertise and commitment, our services will enable maximised plant and operational efficiency with continuous maintenance," said Jens Peter Martensen, General Sales Manager, Metso Waste Recycling at Metso. Metso has also strengthened its overall setup and customer service in the UK and Ireland, by increasing sales personnel amongst other measures, to respond to growing customer needs.
